DUSTON/UPTON PLANT
A new church for West Northampton, planting from Moulton

THE NEED FOR CLEAR GOSPEL WITNESS
The Duston/Upton area has a population of nearly 30,000, and we estimate that fewer than 150 (0.5%) go to church in the area
There have been numerous housing developments in recent years, and more to come. Existing churches have distinct traditions and theologies and have so far been unable to connect with the majority of the existing, let alone the arriving, population.
The new housing developments are largely a mixture of families and young professionals, with a wider range of backrgounds than the Northampton average.
We want to pioneer a new and clearly evangelical church at the heart of this growing community. A number already commute to church in Moulton who are keen to be a part of the initiative.

THE LAUNCH TEAM
We're praying for 30 adults (plus children) to launch a local church in the area
Rev'd Jonnie Deja, an Associate Vicar at Moulton Parish Church, is recruiting a launch team. Potential team members have started to meet weekly (currently on Zoom) to pray, get to know each other, and study the Scriptures.
We're hoping the team will consist of people of different ages, backgrounds, gifts and experiences. The majority of the team will come from Moulton, but we're hoping that some will come from other partner churches.

THE PLAN
Organically reaching the local population through lives and words faithful to the Bible
We're in the process of finding a place to meet
